2008年、アーケードでリリースされたイルマティックエンベロープ、通称イルベロ。
そのシリーズ最新作であるイルベロスウォンプの、オリジナルサウンドトラックである。
全58曲というボリュームながら、聴き始めるとつるりと、気が付けば最後まで聴いてしまっている、
ゲームの奇抜なビジュアルとは、ある意味反するなめらかさで、聴く人の耳に入ってくる、そんなアルバムである。
極端に歪められたキック、郷愁を誘うシンセ、不穏なボイスサンプル、偏執的に切り刻まれ整列させられたノイズ、地の底で蠢くベース。
k.h.d.n.の永田、林がばら撒く音数を絞ったループの数々は、マスタリングエンジニア塩田浩氏の手によって、
タイトル画面でボタンを押した瞬間からひと通り遊んだあとの放心状態までの流れを追体験させる、心地よいサウンドスケープとして紡がれた。
ゲーム本編において、一方的に投げつけられ塗りこめられる理不尽とも思える謎にほんの少し、光を見出す金色のカギになり得る1枚である。
